Treasure Chests in Lumberjack's Dynasty

Treasure hunter is the exploration trophy people abandon because the boxes do not exist until the skill matches the tier. Steam wants 30 chests. Community video maps 31. You can miss one and still pop the achievement. This page is the rank system, the loot tables from the furniture-era patch notes, and a landmark route — not a GPS dump that rots after a terrain patch. Lucky Man is the lock

Chests are gated by Lucky Man (French guides call the track Veinard). If your rank is too low, the box is invisible. You are not looking in the wrong bush. You are under-skilled.

Community rank splits (chest numbers from the long Steam route, not official IDs):

• Rank 1 — toolboxes. Food, random gardening tools, random gardening seeds. Typical set: 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 14, 15, 21, 27, 30.
• Rank 2 — iron chests. Food, other tools, potions. Typical set: 2, 3, 12, 18, 22, 24, 25, 26, 29, 31.
• Rank 3 — green chests. Food, tree seedlings, something precious, high furniture blueprints. Typical set: 1, 4, 9, 11, 13, 16, 17, 19, 20, 23, 28.

Chest 1 sits in your house basement. That is the landmark everyone can verify without a video. Rank 3 often waits on Logan’s replant quest in Chapter 3 (pay the uncle, finish the 50-tree plot). Until then, do not panic about missing green boxes. French progression notes put 20,000–25,000 Euro in early chests even without rank 3, then another 10,000–12,000 once the last greens open — seedlings extra if you keep them for forests.

What is inside (patch language)

Furniture-update notes, still in 1.0:

• Level 1: food, random gardening tool, random gardening seeds.
• Level 2: food, tools beyond the level-1 pool, random potions.
• Level 3: food, seedlings, something precious, high-level furniture factory blueprints.

Players also pull spare fishing rods, beer, sausages, magic beans, watering cans, shovels, and the odd potion from mixed ranks. Treat that as luck. Chests are not a mill. They fund a dryer cycle or a cookbook, then you go back to legal oak.

Furniture blueprints from rank 3 are why this page links furniture factory. The factory still wants dry plank crates. A blueprint without pallets is a recipe on a wall.

How to hunt without getting lost

Walk, do not haul a loaded trailer. Sight on. Water edges, bridges, small grottos, the wedding area, the ski-jump landing, and the basement are the usual hides. The video on this page is a full-map run with rank labels; watch it for camera angles, not for a pin that a 2023 water patch may have nudged.

A practical session:

1. Start a mill dry cycle so the hunt is not unpaid time (mill profits).
2. Sweep the farm basement and the near bridges first (rank 1).
3. When iron chests start appearing, run the river and the wedding ring.
4. After Logan and Lucky Man 3, return for greens. Mark opened boxes on paper or a screenshot. The game will not.
5. Stop at 30 if you only want the trophy. The 31st is completionism.

Console swimming and banks are mean. Keep a save before a long wade. Console release and the 1.09.1 water work on patch history are the bug notes. PC still wins this achievement.

What treasure is not

It is not a replacement for cooking or dry birch. It is not a 2026 duck hunt. If a guide tells you to chop 1337 trees for a waterfall chest, you opened a different game. Ours is 33 Steam achievements, Treasure hunter = 30 boxes.

Do not brick a Chapter 2 save hunting greens. Finish the loan, finish Logan, then walk. Marriage and dating still wait on Charles. Chests do not unlock a spouse.

When the last box opens, go plant the seedlings on land you already own. That is how treasure pays twice.
